Who is responsible
This site is run by Odoo Steer Ltd, the practice of Samiullah Qadeer, an independent Odoo developer based in Pakistan. For anything about your data, write to info@odoosteer.com.
What is collected
- What you send through the contact form: your name, email, and optionally your phone number and company, plus the topic and description you write.
- Emails you exchange with me.
- Visits to the site. The site runs on Odoo, which keeps a basic record of visits (pages viewed, approximate country, time) using its own cookie, and sets the cookies it needs to work, such as the session and language. There is no advertising tracking and no Google Analytics.
Why it is used
To reply to you, to prepare a scope and quote, to deliver and invoice work you have agreed to, and to keep the accounting records the law requires. Visit records are used only to see which pages are read.
Where it is kept
In my own Odoo system, on a server in Germany. Email runs through Google Workspace. Your data is not sold, rented or shared with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Outreach emails
I sometimes write to businesses at the address they publish on their own website, about Odoo work that fits what they describe there. If you receive one and do not want another, reply and say so: your address is added to a permanent do-not-contact list.
How long it is kept
For as long as a conversation or project needs it, and for as long as accounting law requires for invoices. You can ask for anything else to be deleted at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data held about you, or object to how it is used. Email info@odoosteer.com and it will be handled promptly.
